| Company Cal-West
Specialty Coatings has been developing innovative products for the
automotive refinish and other markets since 1988. Located in Sunnyvale,
California, in the heart of Silicon Valley, the company was founded
by Ed Woodhall, a pioneer in the collision repair industry, who
has developed and introduced a number of technical innovations that
have become industry standards.
Prior to founding Cal-West, Mr. Woodhall owned and
operated his own automotive repair facility where he repaired high-end
vehicles for some of Silicon Valley's most distinguished luminaries.
In recognition of his contribution to the industry,
Mr. Woodhall has received numerous awards including Man
of the Year presented to him by 3MARMS. From 1984 to 1990,
he was retained as an industry spokesman for the 3M Company. He
is frequently asked to lecture and share his views on the collision
repair industry and holds several patents.
